SOAR
2027
Where rigorous game‑theoretic modelling meets the real world of laboratory & field experiments — six days, one campus, one cohort.
Six intensive days at the intersection of theory and evidence.
SOAR is a residential academic workshop for researchers who build formal models and want to test them — and for empiricists who want the theory to hold up.

XLRI – Xavier School of Management.
Founded in 1949 by the Jesuits of the Ranchi Province, XLRI is India's oldest business management school — an institution built around the conviction that management education exists to form responsible leaders, not merely efficient ones.
SOAR 2027 is convened by XLRI's Production, Operations & Decision Sciences faculty, and hosted on the Jamshedpur campus: a fully residential setting where a single cohort lives, learns and argues together for six days.
- Fully residential campus — accommodation, classrooms and dining within walking distance.
- Jamshedpur, Jharkhand — India's first planned industrial city, and a live laboratory for operations research.
Built for researchers early in the work that matters.
A single cohort of scholars who model, measure and argue — living and learning on the XLRI campus for six days.
