The Host Institution

XLRI – Xavier School of Management.

Founded in 1949 by the Jesuits of the Ranchi Province, XLRI is India's oldest business management school — an institution built around the conviction that management education exists to form responsible leaders, not merely efficient ones.

SOAR 2027 is convened by XLRI's Production, Operations & Decision Sciences faculty, and hosted on the Jamshedpur campus: a fully residential setting where a single cohort lives, learns and argues together for six days.

  • Fully residential campus — accommodation, classrooms and dining within walking distance.
  • Jamshedpur, Jharkhand — India's first planned industrial city, and a live laboratory for operations research.
Who Should Attend
